Cybersecurity / Information Assurance

Multiple Positions:

Razor Technology is seeking qualified, experienced cybersecurity professionals to support mission-critical systems as Security Control Assessors (SCAs) and Information Assurance (IA) Systems Engineers and Architects. These roles support the assessment, design, verification, and authorization of complex information systems operating in high-threat environments and in compliance with U.S. Government information assurance and cybersecurity requirements.

Candidates will apply formal verification and validation methods to ensure systems meet security, operational, and performance requirements, with a strong emphasis on network operations, cyber threat activity, and adversary tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs).

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure products and systems comply with applicable U.S. Government information assurance, cybersecurity standards, and RMF requirements through formal verification and validation methods.

  • Verify and validate systems with a specific focus on network operations, cyber warfare threats, and protection of information networks.

  • Assess system security performance using established evaluation criteria and technical performance measures.

  • Prepare detailed security assessments and cyber threat profiles for current and planned systems based on advanced testing, research, and analytical methods.

  • Participate in hardware and software design reviews to ensure requirement traceability, system compatibility, and security applicability.

  • Review and evaluate test plans and procedures to ensure security requirements are adequately verified and validated.

  • Develop, document, and maintain analytical and assessment procedures to support evolving system and regulatory requirements.

  • Identify, analyze, and classify system and network vulnerabilities, and provide clear mitigation and remediation recommendations.

  • Prepare and maintain vulnerability tracking reports and assessment documentation for senior government stakeholders.

  • Produce high-quality reports, briefings, papers, findings, and recommendations for senior U.S. Government intelligence, cybersecurity, and operations officials.


RMF & Authorization Support

  • Perform comprehensive information system security assessments in accordance with the Risk Management Framework (RMF).

  • Evaluate security authorization packages and provide authorization recommendations to the Delegated Authorizing Official (DAO).

  • Advise the DAO, Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO), and/or Program Security Officer (PSO) on assessment methodologies, processes, and authorization risks.

  • Support assessment and authorization (A&A) activities throughout the system lifecycle.


Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Demonstrated experience as a Security Control Assessor, IA Engineer, or IA Architect supporting U.S. Government systems

  • Strong knowledge of RMF, NIST standards, and DoD/IC cybersecurity requirements

  • Experience assessing complex systems in networked and threat-focused environments

  • Ability to clearly communicate complex technical findings to senior government decision-makers

  • Proven analytical skills and attention to detail

System Engineers

Type of Employment: Full-Time

Position Description (multiple positions):

We are looking for qualified Systems Engineers to provide technical expertise in the role of Systems Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA) to various government IT program offices. The successful candidates will be integrated within IT programs to produce and assess various program artifacts and perform critical tasks such as:

  • Concept of Operations (CONOPS) Development and Review: Create and evaluate CONOPS documents to ensure they align with program objectives and stakeholder needs.
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Facilitate communication and coordination among various stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and program success.
  • Documentation Review and Assessment: Analyze and critique program documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with standards.
  • Risk Management: Identify, evaluate, and manage risks through the Risk/Issue/Opportunity (R/I/O) process to mitigate potential issues and capitalize on opportunities.
  • Readiness Process Artifacts Production: Develop and manage the necessary artifacts required for program readiness and deployment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support and expertise in systems engineering.
  • Develop and review technical documentation and program artifacts.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure alignment.
  • Conduct risk assessments and manage risks through the R/I/O process.
  • Produce and maintain artifacts for the readiness process.
  • Ensure compliance with program standards and government regulations.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Must possess and be able to maintain an active TS/SCI with Poly.
  • 2-7 years of experience in systems engineering, preferably within government or defense sectors.
  • Proven understanding of the systems engineering lifecycle and processes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in risk management and documentation review.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Systems Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience with SETA and working within government program offices.
  • Familiarity with CONOPS development and stakeholder coordination.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Certification in systems engineering (e.g., INCOSE CSEP).
  • Experience with cloud environments such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, and Oracle.

 

Linguist Positions

Razor Technology is currently seeking to fill multiple Linguist positions at the Primary, Senior, and Expert levels. All candidates must have excellent English speaking and writing skills. Linguists must have a target language proficiency level equivalent to an IRL score of 3 or better to apply for all positions.
